DirectPings
Terms and conditions
Last updated October 26, 2026
These terms cover the DirectPings mobile app and the website at directpings.com. By using DirectPings, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
DirectPings lets you create reminders and receive them on your phone. A ping can be once, scheduled, or recurring, and it can include a title, a description, an image, and an alert. You can also keep a journal and a schedule with a todo or checklist that stays visible in the app.
The product is developed by Ete-services.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. Provide accurate account information and tell us if you believe someone else is using your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the reminders, images, journal entries, and checklist items you add. You grant DirectPings a limited license to host that content, show it back to you, and deliver the notifications you asked for. That license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must keep for a legal duty, a safety report, or a dispute.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use DirectPings to:
- Break the law or violate someone else's rights.
- Store, request, or share sexual content involving anyone under 18, or to groom, exploit, or endanger a child. See the child safety standards.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate another person.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service.
- Upload malware or content you do not have the right to use.
Notifications
A ping is delivered on a best-effort basis. Delivery depends on your phone, notification permission, network, battery, focus and do-not-disturb settings, and the operating system. DirectPings is not an emergency, medical, legal, or safety-alert service. Do not rely on it for situations where a missed alert could cause harm.
The journal and the checklist
Journal entries and checklist items are stored for your account. You are responsible for what you write there. Remove anything you no longer want kept.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, including the child safety standards. You may stop using DirectPings at any time.
The website and the app
We may change, pause, or retire features. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms. The privacy policy explains how information is handled.
Disclaimers
DirectPings is provided as available. We do not warrant that every ping will arrive, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that the app will meet a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, and those limits apply where they must.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, DirectPings and Ete-services are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for a missed reminder. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law forbids that limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. That does not remove mandatory consumer protections in your country. Courts in Lebanon may hear disputes, without limiting a right you have to bring a claim in your local courts where the law requires it.
